Emerald Ballet Theatre presents The Nutcracker

Emerald Ballet Theatre's holiday classic, The Nutcracker, returns to NPAC

December 7, 8, 14 & 15 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rainier Symphony Orchestra

From twirls and curls to mischief and magic, there’s something to captivate everyone in The Nutcracker. Now in its seventh season, Emerald Ballet Theatre’s (EBT) full-length production brings E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale to life with the Rainier Symphony Orchestra, ornate costumes, lavish sets and exquisite choreography in the Russian tradition.

Over 150 Emerald Ballet Academy students will perform alongside professional dancers and guest artists over two weekends. Former Bolshoi ballerina Ms. Viktoria Titova appears as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mr. Shane Tice is her Cavalier.

EBA students Megan Hong of Woodinville and Kristina Snyder of Bellevue share the role of little Clara. Erica Hsia of Bellevue and Emeline Settlemyre of Bothell play big Clara. Gig Harbor’s Jonathon Lique is their Cavalier.
