From SAD to JOY (Overcoming Seasonal Affective Disorder)
Do you experience the winter blues? Do you feel sluggish? Is your get-up-and-go gone? If so, come to this workshop to invigorate your spirit with heart-warming asana, active meditation techniques, uplifting essential oils, and nutritional recommendations. In Chinese medicine, winter is a time of decreased fire element, so you may feel a lack of energy, no get-up-and-go, sometimes sadness or even depression. A proper yoga practice is balancing, so it helps refuel your inner flame, stimulate the energy centers, and nourish your emotions so you easily feel more upbeat, energized, inspired and alive. You will learn sequences and asana that you can do at home, and receive recipes and recommendations for ways to keep Seasonal Affective Disorder at bay all winter-long. Please bring a sense of humor and your smile.
