The International Gathering was created for the purpose of bringing people together who want to learn about other cultures, and building friendships. We usually have a topic of discussion for each meeting. Often we get off the topic into other conversations that were sparked as a result of our discussion. Such is the path of exploring and learning. Our topic in December is. What holidays are celebrated in your culture this time of year, including new year? What are the customs in celebrating these holidays? What kind of gifts do you bring when visiting friends and relatives at this time of year?
