What did Pacific Northwest indigenous people eat before Safeway and McDonald's dotted the landscape? Reed Ingalls shares his knowledge of nutrient rich edible plants found in our local forests and fields. Reed, an avid hiker and backpacker, lives in Newcastle and serves as secretary for the Weed Warriors, a Washington State Nonprofit Charitable Organization, and is a Team Member with the National Wildlife Federation to certify Newcastle as a Wildlife Habitat Community.
