Summer Youth Farm Camp - Telling Farm Tales

21 Acres Summer Farm Camps

Send your kids to Summer Youth Farm Camp by Seattle Tilth at 21 Acres!  Kids will love the farm-to-table experience, growing and eating farm fresh food while learning how to take care of the environment. This beautiful organic farm will provide a week full of fun adventures and each week will be unique, so you can sign-up for one, two or all three weeks during July for a memorable summer vacation. 

Telling Farm Tales

July 14–18 - Ages 7–11 (entering grades 2-5 in fall 2014)

Kids spend five days learning practical farming skills while using stories to learn where food comes from. Explore the unique farm at 21 Acres, along with worms, plants, goats and bees. Students explore different storytelling traditions through by planting a Three Sisters Garden, a fascinating Native American planting technique with corn, beans and squash. The week will culminate with the creation of a meal with these special ingredients fresh from the farm. Fun and educational farm activities will be enhanced with oral and written stories.

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Campers provide their own lunch.

Cost:  $290 for individuals / $240 for 21 Acres or Seattle Tilth Members / $25 discount for each sibling or friend registered at the same time.
