Taste of Main: Enjoy Food and Wine in Old Bellevue Aug. 17

Saturday is the Taste of Main, the annual event that celebrates restaurants in historic Main Street in Bellevue and benefits the Children’s Response Center.

With a purchase a passport attendees can enjoy food sampling at the restaurants along Main Street in downtown Bellevue, and wine tasting from local wineries. Main Street shops will offer special sales and giveaways, and activities include massages, pedicures, makeovers, live performances, and a silent auction. 

The event is 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Wine tasting begins at 1 p.m. You can find it on Main Street between 100th Avenue and Bellevue Way.

Proceeds benefit the Children's Response Center is an organization that helps children who are victims of sexual assault and other traumatic events. You can get more information about the Children's Response Center online.

Passports are $40 and can be purchased online or at the event at booths on Main Street. Passports for wine tasting are $10.
