Bellevue Fill The Boot

The Bellevue Fire Department Local #1604 will be out in support with boots in hand for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as they participate in the annual Fill-the-Boot fundraising campaign for children and adults with muscle-wasting diseases.

The event will occur this Friday, August 12 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the intersection of NE 28th St & 84th Ave NE in Hunts Point.

This is the 57th year IAFF members will hit the streets to bring help and hope to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. “For more than five decades, fire fighters across the country have done an unbelievable job helping the MDA with their time and energy in helping raise funds’’ MDA Chairman & CEO Gerald C. Weinberg. “They are our true heroes. They make a difference that has impacted MDA patients throughout the years. They are truly inspiring, selfless individuals.’’
