Calling all West Bellevue gardeners and all people interested in helping the hungry in our community!
We are in the process of creating a community p-patch garden behind Grace Lutheran Church. The goal is to lay out about 30 garden patches of about 100 square feet each. They would be made available to the community to rent. Any excess produced by the gardens would be donated to the local food bank. This first year, the scope of the work is large, so we need help to plan and build our garden.
Our first meeting will be held in the Fireside Room of Grace Lutheran Church at 9625 N.E. 8th St. on Sunday, March 11, at noon.
