Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park: Family-Friendly Films and Donations for Charity

"Puss in Boots," "Happy Feet 2" and "We Bought a Zoo" are among the family-friendly films that will be shown every week at Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park.

The free weekly event at  starts July 10 and is presented by Intelius and Bellevue Parks and Community Services and benefits local nonprofit organizations that are committed to serving people's basic needs.

Family-friendly movies will be projected on to an inflatable 40-foot outdoor screen and popcorn and other FREE concessions will be available to all movie-goers. Activity that starts at 7:30 p.m. and the free movies start at dusk.

The eight screenings will serve as a donation drive, providing much-needed supplies and cash donations for the nonprofits, including The Sophia Way, the Highland Community Center, the Kindering Center, Bellevue LifeSpring, Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue and more.

If it rains, movies will be held at , 14509 SE Newport Way, Bellevue, WA 98006
