Print artists may be exposing themselves and their families to harmful chemicals. A free workshop in Seattle shows how to reduce health risks.

Are print artists in King County unnecessarily endangering their health, their families or the environment? What can be done to reduce these risks?

 

Print artists work with a wide variety of potentially harmful chemical products: corrosive liquids, flammable liquids, toxic compounds and carcinogenic dusts. Can you be harmed by the materials in your studio? Are you properly disposing of your printmaking wastes?
