POLL: Gas Could Skyrocket Over the Weekend

One analyst says prices could jump between 10 cents and 35 cents. Will that change your habits this Memorial Day weekend?

Popeye used to utter these immortal words: "That's all I can stand, and I can't stands no more."

Drivers across the Puget Sound might be echoing the sentiment this Memorial Day weekend. Already paying more than the rest of the country per gallon of gas, there's this week's news that prices could shoot up between 10 cents to 35 cents (yes, 35 cents) per gallon over the weekend.

Right now, gas prices range from about $4.14 for the cheapest local regular to more than $4.40 for premium, according to Bellevue Patch's traffic and gas website.
