Warm smiles and warm coats were freely given this week, as held its annual at on Monday and Tuesday. Here are some photos of Monday's event.
The annual event, coordinated with the Fashion Club, collects used coats, jackets, sweaters, gloves and scarves and new wool socks from the community and distributes it to children, teens and families who cannot afford them.
Boxes were at many local schools and some private businesses throughout November.
The Kids Care Coat Drive has distributed thousands of coats and other warm items to children, teenagers and families throughout Bellevue since 2004. Last year, Bellevue Youth Link collected over 3,000 coats for families in need.
