The U.S. Postal Service announced by mid-2013.
The Postal Service says that though it is a function of the government, it completely relies on the revenue raised through mail and packages. But with the proliferation of email over the past 20 years, and the abundance of private delivery services such as FedEx and UPS, is the U.S. Postal Service something that you would miss if it were phased out? Or do we need a government service to continue to provide services that wouldn't be profitable for a private business?
