$8,000 Reward Offered in 'Duct Tape Bandit' Bank Robberies
Four police agencies in Western Washington are joining forces to seek a suspect who has worn duct tape over his nose while robbing local banks.
Four police agencies, including the , are offering an $8,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a bank robber whose disguise consists of duct tape across his nose.
has joined police agencies in Edmonds, Poulsbo and Stanwood, where banks have been targeted this summer by a man wearing black duct tape over his nose, according to police.

In each of the incidents, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money be placed inside a white cloth bag. A bank employee was assaulted in the Stanwood robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short, light-brown hair, a thin to medium build and possibly a tattoo on the inside of his left leg (see attached photos and videos).
Here is a complete list of banks that were targeted:
- May 24—Whidbey Island Bank (Stanwood)
- June 7—Key Bank (Poulsbo)
- June 20—Wells Fargo (Edmonds)
- Aug. 8— (Redmond)
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. Callers with tips that lead to an arrest and charges against the suspect are eligible to receive a $1,000 reward. Wells Fargo is offering an additional award of up to $5,000, and First Citizens is offering up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
