A Bellevue bank robber wrapped his face in what appeared to be cloth before robbing a Washington Federal Savings bank earlier this month, the FBI reported.

A Bellevue bank robber swathed his face in what appears to be cloth during a recent Bellevue bank robbery, the Federal Bureau of Investigations reported.

The FBI Seattle Safe Streets Task Force is seeking information about the subject in the June 5, 2012 robbery of a bank, 3712 150th Ave. SE, Bellevue, according to a bureau press release.

The robbery occurred at approximately 1:20 pm. June 5, according to the press release. One witness thought the subject may be armed with a handgun but was not sure, though surveillance photos depict the subject’s gloved hands, but no gun is seen, the FBI reported.

The subject’s head was wrapped with what appears to be cloth and witnesses describe him as being approximately 5’10” to 6’0” tall, the FBI reported.

Anyone with information that can help identify this individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1000.00 if the information given leads to an arrest and charge of the person(s) involved.
