Bellevue Craft Store Struck for $40,000 of Jewelry Beads
Quiltworks Northwest, in the 100 block of 107th Avenue Northeast, was burglarized Tuesday morning, and was cleaned of $40,000 to $50,000 in gold-plated and sterling silver beads for jewelry-making.
Gold and silver buyers should be aware: the Bellevue Police Department reports that burglars stole about $40,000 of gold-plated and sterling silver jewelry insets from a craft store early Tuesday morning.
The burglary at , in the 100 block of 107th Avenue Northeast, occurred around 6:15 a.m., according to the Bellevue Police Department.
The person who reported the burglary said told police that three people fleeing the scene had baseball bats and fled in a vehicle waiting nearby, described as a silver 4 Door Mitsubishi with a rear spoiler.

A window was smashed and a medium sized rock was found near the door, according to the Bellevue Police Department.
Bellevue police provided a photo taken from a surveillance video of a vehicle spotted speeding away from the scene.

The police department also supplied pictures of the type of jewelry inset beads taken. The burglars took between $40,000 to $50,000 in jewelry insets, according to the Bellevue police department.
