Bellevue Pickpocket Suspect Caught on Camera in Issaquah

Police have security screenshots of the suspect and a possible accomplice, and are looking for information to help identify them.

A man suspected of picking pockets in Bellevue was caught on camera at an Issaquah Fred Meyer in November, police say.

The Issaquah Police have security camera photos, but no name for a suspected pickpocket and his possible accomplice who have been lightening shoppers wallets for months.

The man is sought in connection with a number of thefts at Issaquah stores, and may be involved in cases in Kent and Bellevue, according to the website Washington's Most Wanted.

If you can identify the men in the photos, police ask that you call 425-837-3200.

Hey Bellevue Patch, how about getting yourself a copy of Picasa and lightening the photo? Without a bit of tweaking, it's too dark to recognize the man's face.

Thanks for the suggestion, Stephen. I know that photo is dark, but altering a photo that I didn't take, especially a police-provided photo, makes me a little squeamish about whether I would be interfering with this investigation. However, I do see the argument.
