Bellevue Police Look for Suspect in Coast Hotel Robbery (Photo)

Bellevue Police provide photos of a suspect in a robbery that took place Saturday morning in the Coast Hotel. The manager of the hotel suffered an injury during the robbery.

Bellevue police are looking for a man who they say robbed the and assaulted the manager there early Saturday morning.

Around 4:15 a.m. a man jumped over the front counter of the hotel at 625 116th Ave. N.E. and confronted the manager who was in the office, according to a press release.

The man reportedly spoke in a low tone as though trying to disguise his voice, according to the press release. According to police, the man was armed with a small semi-automatic pistol and struck the victim manager while demanding money. The assault resulted in injury to the victim which required medical attention, police said.

The victim told police that the man was wearing a Black Nike hoodie with light colored sleeves, according to police. The color in the photo provided by police is not accurate, according to the press release. The victim is certain that the hoodie was black, police said.

The man was also wearing a black full head mask which pictured a skull with jagged teeth and eye slights, not eye holes, gray sweat pants, purple or burgundy mechanic style gloves, unknown type shoes, police said.

Detectives are comparing still photos, video from multiple locations and witness statements to establish the suspect’s behavior before and after the attack, police said.

Bellevue Police detectives were able to recover surveillance images of the suspect, and we are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect in this case is asked to contact the Bellevue Police Department or call 911. All information will remain confidential.
