Traffic on 140th Avenue Southeast near Sammamish High School was blocked for a time Tuesday morning while Bellevue Police dealt with a report of a suicidal person, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

Bellevue Police blocked traffic on 140th Avenue Southeast near Main Street around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Bellevue Police spokesman Officer Seth Tyler said police blocked the road because the suicidal person reportedly had a weapon in their apartment. The incident ended when the person was transported away by ambulance, he said.
