Bellevue Police Stations to "Take Back" Prescription Drugs on April 28

The nationwide Take Back Prescription Drugs Day is April 28. Dispose of your expired and unwanted medications at the following police stations.

The following information is from the Bellevue Police Department:

The is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as part of a nationwide prescription drug “Take-Back” initiative. We want your expired, unused, and unwanted medications, including prescription drugs.  

On Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Bellevue Police will have three locations throughout the city set up to collect controlled, non-controlled, and over-the-counter medications. No identification will be required or requested. There will be a uniformed police officer available to assist you. Unused and unwanted medications will be collected at the following locations:

Individuals are encouraged to remove identifying information from prescription labels.  For more information and other collection sites visit:  www.DEA.gov and click on “Got Drugs?”

Due to the hazardous nature of some items, the following will not be accepted:  intra-venous solutions, injectables, syringes, or medical waste.
