Bellevue Robbery Connected to Thursday Kirkland Bank Heist

Agents with the FBI Seattle Safe Streets Task Force suspect he might be same same man who robbed banks in Bellevue, Bothell, Shoreline and Lynwood.

The FBI is seeking information on a white male in his late 30s to early 40s who robbed the Key Bank on Juanita Drive in Kirkland Thursday morning and might have previously robbed banks in Bellevue, Shoreline, Bothell and Lynnwood.

The man, between 5-foot-10 and six feet and between 150-180 pounds (see attached photos) hit the bank at about 9:33 a.m. Thursday. He used a note that threatened that he had a gun, according to a press release from the Seattle office of the FBI.

His appearance and method of operation resemble that of the robber at four other other banks, all robbed earlier this year, the release said, including a robbery on Feb. 13, 2012 at one of the Bellevue Key Bank branches.

Anyone with information that can help identify this individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1000.00 if the information given leads to an arrest and charge of the person(s) involved.
