Update: 11 a.m. June 14

A Bellevue woman was found dead in her home hot tub Wednesday evening, Bellevue Police reported.

spokeswoman Office Carla Iafrate told Bellevue Patch that there is nothing suspicious about the woman's death.

The woman's husband told police that he called home around lunchtime and spoke with his wife, but when he got home that evening around 6 p.m., he found her submerged in the tub, Iafrate said. The man called 9-1-1 and began CPR, Iafrate said.

Medics responded to the home in the 2600 block of 106th Avenue Northeast, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her death was not suspicious, but the King County Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death, Iafrate said.
