VIDEO: Car Crashes Through Redmond Home, Causes Two-Alarm Fire

Bellevue and Redmond firefighters responded to a house fire in the 14800 block of NE 61st Way caused by a car crashing into it, according to reports from KIRO and Q13 News. There were no injuries.

Update:

The driver of a 1997 Lexus sedan said she was having trouble with the car right before it crashed into a house Saturday night, and that it swerved off the road into the house in the 14800 block of NE 61st Way, Redmond Police spokesman Jim Bove told The Seattle Times.

She wasn't seriously hurt, and the house, which caught fire, was vacant. Police don’t believe alcohol was an issue in the accident, Bove said.
