Collapse at Issaquah Highlands Construction Site Sends 4 to Hospital

Eastside Fire & Rescue is on the scene of an accident in which a wall collapsed on workers who were trying to raise it, injuring four, one of those seriously. Labor and Industries is investigating.

Eastside Fire & Rescue was dispatched to an Issaquah Highlands home building site Friday afternoon after a wooden wall they were raising flipped and landed on four workers, seriously injuring one.

EFR Station #71 Battalion Chief Glenn Huffman said all four of the construction workers were transported to area hospitals, and Labor & Industries is investigating the accident.

The site of the accident was on NE 3rd Court near Swedish Issaquah and on the edge of the bluff above Cadman Issaquah.

The names of those injured were not available at this time.
