Danford Grant, the Seattle attorney charged in a series of rapes of local massage therapists, including one in Bellevue and one in Shoreline, has submitted a DNA sample, according to a KIRO-TV news report.
The news report also states that a search warrant was served at the Seattle law firm of Bailey Onsager, where Grant formerly was a partner before being arrested in connection with rape of a massage therapist in Seattle in September. Grant had risen to be part of the firm's name -- Bailey Grant Onsager -- before his arrest.
After the Seattle arrest, prosecutors connected him to seven charges in connection to a series of sexual assaults of local massage therapists, including the August rapes of a massage therapist at a Bellevue studio and of a massage therapist at her home in Shoreline.
Grant was released after posting $1 million bail in October and is under electronic home monitoring, as well as under other restrictions.
