Deputies Release Photo of Man Sought in Connection to Newcastle Bank Robbery

The King County Sheriff's Office released a security camera image of a man they say robbed a Key Bank in Newcastle last week.

King County Sheriff's detectives say they are looking for a man who they believe robbed a bank in Newcastle last week.  

According to a press release, the incident occurred around about 12:20 p.m. Friday, March 18 at the Key Bank at 6917 Coal Creek Parkway SE. The robber went up to a teller and gave her the robbery note, but didn't show or imply that he had a gun. The teller reportedly gave him money from the till and he left the bank on foot.

King County Sheriff's deputies ad local police were not able to locate the man.

The man is described as a white male, about 6’ tall, thin build, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a brown collar, black baseball cap, and light-colored jeans.

If anyone recognizes the suspect they should call the King County Sheriff's Office at (206) 296-3311 (24 hours) or 9-1-1.
