Electrocuted Worker Dies After Bellevue Construction Site Accident

The worker who was electrocuted at a Bellevue construction site died over the weekend, the Department of Labor and Industries reported.

A man electrocuted at a Bellevue construction site died over the weekend, and the Department of Labor and Industries is investigating.

The man was identified by the King County Medical Examiner's Office as Gilberto Martinez-Gonzalez, 34.

The man, who was working for TPC Construction of Mill Creek, died on Saturday, said Labor and Industries spokeswoman Elaine Fischer.

That was two days after Martinez-Gonzalez  at a residential construction site around 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 7 at the 10600 block of Southeast 20th Street.

The worker was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, Bellevue Fire Department spokesman Lt. Troy Donlin told Bellevue Patch last week.

The Department of Labor and Industries continues its investigation, Fischer said.

That was two days after the man, who was in his 30s, at a residential construction site around 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 7 at the 10600 block of Southeast 20th Street, Bellevue Fire Department spokesman Lt. Troy Donlin told Bellevue Patch last week.

The worker was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, Donlin said.

The Department of Labor and Industries continues its investigation, Fischer said.
