Girl Injured After Bike Crash in Newport Hills

A girl suffered minor injuries after she crashed her bike in Newport Hills Monday evening, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.

A girl suffered minor injuries after she crashed her bike in Newport Hills Monday evening, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.

Patch Associate Regional Editor Margaret Santjer caught the aftermath of the scene around 7:40 p.m. and took a photo at the scene on SE 56th St. between 123rd and 125th Avenues SE.

The girl was transported via Aid 2 to Overlake with minor injuries, according to Bellevue Fire Department spokesman Lt. Troy Donlin. She was not wearing a helmet.
