Investigators: Accused Child Molester Possibly Met Victims at Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue

Timothy L. Dampier, 34,of Seattle has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation.

Seattle Police arrested a man they say sexually abused boys he met through a church and charity groups, according to news reports Monday. 

The suspect, Timothy L. Dampier, 34, is accused of multiple counts of child molestation linked to incidents in Kent and Seattle, KOMO news reported Monday. Investigators say he abused three children between May 2001 and May 2003. But, they added, possibily more victims remain.

Dampier, reportedly a licensed foster parent, had been employed by at least eight organizations serving children, including the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue, seattlepi.com reported Monday.

Police say Dampier told officers he met two teenage boys two months ago at the Boys and Girls Club. One of them slept in his bed with him, Dampier allegedly told investigators.

Dampier is being held in the King County jail on $500,000 bail, according to the jail's log.
