Guy Lewis, the 85-year-old Bellevue man with Alzheimer's disease reported missing Friday morning, was located Saturday more than 400 miles away, in Ontario, OR, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

Police officers in Oregon located him, according to Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate. Iafrate said that Lewis thought that he was driving to Kentucky.

Lewis had driven away from his Lake Hills home in a Gold Ford Escape Friday morning and was last spotted at the Bank of America in Lake Hills, police said. His wife told police it wasn’t unusual for him to drive short distances from his home but it was not his habit to be gone for more than several hours.

Glad he is found ....BUT I wouldn't let anyone with Alzheimer's Disease DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so appalled that he was still driving! I do hope the family don't leave him alone ....he can NOT be alone and needs supervision all the time! My grandmother has Alzheimer's Disease......and I work with patients with Alzheimer's Disease..........they can NOT be alone ......or drive!!!!
