Police are looking for Ja’mari Alexander Alan Jones, 19, one of three teens convicted in the 2008 beating death of a Seattle figure known as "Tuba Man."

Bellevue Police are looking for a 19-year-old man suspected in a fatal shooting early Monday at a downtown club.

They issued a warrant for the arrest of Ja’mari Alexander Alan Jones. He is believed to be armed and dangerous, and the public is asked to call 9-1-1 if they see him.

Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate confirmed Monday night that Jones was one of three teens convicted for the 2008 beating death of a beloved Seattle figure known as "Tuba Man."

Jones is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 140 pounds. Police are also looking for a white Nissan Maxima, with Washington license plate AHZ1672.

Jones is suspected of fatally shooting a 30-year-old Seattle man just after 1 a.m. Monday at the crowded Munchbar in Bellevue Square, where a Seattle Seahawks after-party was going on. About 600 people were at the bar. A second person was shot and wounded.

If anyone has information about Jones, they are asked to call 425-452-2546, or email PDTIPLINE@Bellevuewa.gov
