Two Eastside teens were transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center Sunday morning following a single-vehicle crash on I-405 in Bellevue.
A 19-year-old Redmond man was driving a 2012 Chevy Camaro on I-405 southbound at about 9:10 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn onto I-90 westbound and struck a tree, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.
Both the driver and his passenger, a 14-year-old Woodinville girl, were transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue. Patch is attempting to obtain information on the severity of their injuries and will update this post if and when that information becomes available.
The collision remains under investigation with WSP. Drugs and/or alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
