Did You Feel the Small Earthquakes in Redmond or Seattle?

A 2.6-magnitude earthquake hit Lake City at 6:56 a.m. Friday, followed by a 2.3-magnitude quake east of Redmond at 7:34 a.m.

King County experienced two small earthquakes early Friday morning,seismologists at the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said.

The first quake was at 6:56 a.m. and centered in Lake City. It measured 2.6 on the Richter scale and was 19.3 miles deep. 

A second earthquake took place at 7:34 a.m. and was centered just west of Lake Marcel between Carnation and Duvall. It was 16.5 miles deep.
