Woman Robbed of Purse Outside Bellevue Square; Suspect Sought

Bellevue police have released a sketch of a man suspected in taking a woman's purse in a strong-arm robbery outside Bellevue Square Monday.

A man robbed a woman of her purse outside Bellevue Square on Monday afternoon, the Bellevue Police Department reported.

The Bellevue Police Department has released a sketch of the suspect.

The 30-year-old woman did not report any injuries, according to the police department.

According to the police department, the man forcibly took the woman's purse in the 10100 block of Northeast 8th Street, on the northwest corner outside Bellevue Square.

The suspect was last seen running across N.E. 8th Street, according to police.

The victim’s description of the suspect helped detectives in rendering the depicted sketch, according to the police department.

The suspect was described as a biracial man, approximately 18 years of age, 5-feet 6-inches tall, 140 pounds, black hair/brown eyes, wearing a gray hooded sweater and baggy pants.
