WSP: Bellevue Driver Arrested On Suspicion of DUI Twice In Six Months
A Bellevue man was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time in six months, according to the Washington State Patrol.

On Oct. 22, a black Honda Civic was stopped on southbound Interstate 405 for the second time in six months. The trooper was unaware that he was stopping the same vehicle and driver from a DUI arrest he had made on April 23.
The driver, Charlie Small-Michalak of Bellevue, showed obvious signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for investigation of DUI, according to a state patrol press release. During processing, Small-Michalak had a breath alcohol reading of .178 which was just .001 lower than his April arrest reading of .179.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Small-Michalak stated, “I can’t believe I did this again... I don’t usually make the same mistake twice.” He was booked into King County Jail under investigation of DUI, according to a state patrol press release.
With Halloween quickly approaching, drivers are reminded to include transportation in their preparation for celebration, the state patrol reminded motorists. A pre-arranged plan to use a taxi, public transportation or designated driver may save a life.
