A Bellevue man was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time in six months, according to the Washington State Patrol.

On Oct. 22, a black Honda Civic was stopped on southbound Interstate 405 for the second time in six months. The trooper was unaware that he was stopping the same vehicle and driver from a DUI arrest he had made on April 23.

The driver, Charlie Small-Michalak of Bellevue, showed obvious signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for investigation of DUI, according to a state patrol press release. During processing, Small-Michalak had a breath alcohol reading of .178 which was just .001 lower than his April arrest reading of .179.
