WSP: Issaquah Teen Reports Sexual Assault in Pickup

The Washington State Patrol is looking for information about a possible sexual assault that occurred in multiple locations around Issaquah.

Witnesses and information sought in the possible sexual assault of a minor just outside Issaquah, according to the Washington State Patrol.

While out walking an Issaquah teen was picked up by an unidentified man and sexually assaulted, according to the state patrol press release. At 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28, the teenage girl was picked up on State Route 900 and transported to different locations in the area, according to the release. After being held against her will for around 30 minutes she was released, according to the state patrol.

The suspect was described as a 19-25 year old Hispanic male with a strong accent, approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall with an average build wearing jeans and a dark blue sweatshirt. He was wearing a hat at the time but had visible sideburns, according to the state patrol. The man's vehicle was described as a dark blue midsized pickup truck, with a blue metal tool box with white writing on it in the bed of the truck.
