41st District Incumbents Lead Challengers in Early Primary Results

State Sen. Steve Litzow (R-Mercer island) and State Rep. Marcie Maxwell (D-Renton) have leads in early primary returns

In the 41st District, the incumbents are leading in early primary returns, and will face challengers from the opposite major parties.

Republican state Sen. Steve Litzow of Mercer Island will move on to the general election for his Senate seat against Democrat Maureen Judge. He received nearly 58 percent of the vote to Judge’s 42 percent.

Democratic Rep. Marcie Maxwell (56 percent) of Renton will face Republican Tim Eaves (43 percent) for the House Position 1 seat.
