Bellevue City Council Candidate Forum Slated Oct. 1

Bellevue City Council candidates will talk about the issues at a forum sponsored by the Bellevue Downtown Association on Oct. 1.

The Bellevue Downtown Association provided the following information on the forum:

From public safety and budget priorities, to future growth and transportation, the six Bellevue City Council candidates will share views on a variety of key issues, why they’re running and how they’ll approach the next four years if elected. This forum is hosted by the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) and presented in partnership by the Bellevue Reporter.

The BDA encourages voters to meet the candidates and make informed choices for the November 5 General Election. William Shaw, regional publisher for Sound Publishing will serve as moderator.

Position 2: Conrad Lee and Lyndon Heywood
Position 4: Steven Kasner and Kevin Wallace
Position 6: Lynne Robinson and Vandana Slatter

Forum seating will be first-come, first-served, and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
