People who work downtown are invited to a forum on the future of Downtown Bellevue on from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday March 19.

The past few weeks, the city has been holding forums for residents, business owners and retailers, architects, "visionaries" and others at focus group sessions on the future of downtown.

The discussions will help shape the changes to the city's zoning regulations and design guidelines for Bellevue's downtown, as the city updates its codes.

The focus group for employees was added to the original list of downtown stakeholder groups.

According to the city, the meetings will include a brief presentation on the Downtown Livability Initiative, followed by small group and facilitated discussion.

Topics under discussion will include design, amenities and transportation issues, according to the city.

While this is the last focus group in this series, there will be more scheduled around June or July.
