First District Democratic Candidates to hold Congressional Debate in Redmond

Mark your calendars: six Democratic candidates running for Congress in Washington's 1st District will appear at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center to answer questions from the audience and debate moderators.

Local Democrats will host a debate featuring 1st District Congressional candidates from 7:30 to 9 p.m. June 27 at the . 

Six Democratic candidates—, , , Steve Hobbs,  and —were scheduled to attend. Candidates will answer questions posed by debate moderators and audience members.

The six Democratic candidates, along with Republican John Koster and Independent Larry Ishmael, will appear on the ballot for the Aug. 7 primary election. The top two candidates with the most primary votes—regardless of party affiliation—will advance to the general election on Nov. 6.

The Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center is located at 16600 NE 80th St. in Redmond. More information on the debate is available on the 5th District Democrats webpage. (The 5th District refers to the legislative district.)
