The candidates for King County Council District 6 responded to questionnaires issues by Patch. This is how they responded.

Metropolitan King County Councilwoman Jane Hague, who has represented District 6 for 17 years, faces three challengers in this year's primary.

Ballots are due to the county or to be postmarked by Aug. 16.

Hague, of Bellevue, has been in office since 1994 and is being challenged by Port of Seattle Commissioner John W. Creighton of Kirkland; Richard E. Mitchell of Mercer Island, a King County Housing Authority Commissioner; and former Bellevue City Councilwoman Patsy Bonincontri.
