Incumbent Dunn to Face Challenger Song in King County Council Race

Reagan Dunn and challenger Shari Song lead in the District No. 9 race.

Preliminary King County Elections results show that King County District No. 9 incumbent Reagan Dunn enjoys a substantial lead over his challengers with 55.5 percent (13,759 votes).

Challenger Shari Song comes in with 34.83 percent (8,635 votes). Kristina Macomber has 9.27 percent (2,298 votes)

Dunn's campaign quickly released a statement after the results Tuesday were released and called the numbers a 'convincing landslide primary victory.'

"The voters of District 9 know my record of keeping taxes low, prioritized spending and funding public safety services,” said Dunn in the statement. "I would like to thank the voters for their overwhelming support and I will build on this great victory and continue to fight for every vote as we move on to the general election."
