King County Elections Update: Not Much Change in Bellevue Races

Not much shift in percentages in the King County Council district 6 race, Bellevue City Council or Bellevue School Board races in the latest vote tally released by King County Wednesday afternoon. Another update expected Thursday afternoon.

There wasn't much shift in the percentages in the Bellevue-based races, according to the latest vote tally released by the King County Elections office.

The percentages looked like they were holding in the King County Council district 6 race, Bellevue City Council or Bellevue School Board races in the latest vote tally released by King County Wednesday afternoon. Another update is expected Thursday afternoon.

In the race for , incumbent Jane Hague continued to lead challenger Richard Mitchell, slightly increasing her lead from 7 to 8 percentage points.

In the races for , the incumbents were leading by double-digit margins and John Stokes maintained his slight lead over Aaron Laing in the race for Bellevue Councilman Grant Degginger's open seat.

In the contested , challenger Steve McConnell held a slight lead over incumbent Betsy Johnson who was appointed to replace retiring board member Judy Bushnell 18 months ago.
