Bellevue Way at State Route 520 Closed Over the Weekend
Both directions of Bellevue Way Northeast over State Route 520 will be closed starting at 10 p.m. Friday (April 13) to 5 a.m. Monday (April 16) to install a new fish-friendly culvert, reports WSDOT.
Both directions of Bellevue Way Northeast over State Route 520 will be shut over the weekend, including both westbound on-ramps from Bellevue Way Northeast, according to a press release from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The closure starts Friday night, April 13 and the lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, WSDOT reports.
Work this weekend includes installation of giant prefabricated concrete sections that will form a new fish-friendly culvert carrying Yarrow Creek beneath all lanes of Bellevue Way Northeast, according to a state press release. More information is available on the project construction Web page.

The lanes on Bellevue Way Northeast near SR 520 begin to close as early as 8 p.m. Friday, and all lanes, the overpass and ramps will be closed by 10 p.m., according to the state press release.
The off-ramp from eastbound SR 520 will remain open to southbound Bellevue Way Northeast, and a detour will be posted for drivers heading to Kirkland, the state reported.

- Some lanes in both directions of Bellevue Way Northeast over SR 520 begin to close at 8 p.m. Friday, April 13. All lanes of Bellevue Way Northeast and both on-ramps from Bellevue Way/Lake Washington Boulevard to westbound SR 520 will close 10 p.m.
- During construction, some turning movements will be restricted at the intersection. Flaggers will direct drivers to appropriate detours.
- Bellevue Way Northeast and the ramps will reopen 5 a.m. Monday, April 16.
- The off-ramp from eastbound SR 520 will remain open to southbound Bellevue Way.
- Drivers heading between Bellevue and Kirkland can follow a posted detour.
- Drivers can still use nearby ramps to east and westbound SR 520 from 108th Avenue Northeast.
