Medina Elementary Students Give High-Fives to President Obama (Pictures at Link)

The POTUS made an impromptu stop Medina Elementary School as he passed through town for a fundraising stop. The Bellevue School District has photos of his stop on its website.

MEDINA -- President Barack Obama made an unscheduled stop at Medina Elementary as he passed through town on his visit to Puget Sound on Friday.

Obama's stops included a visit to the Everett Boeing plant, a fundraising stop at Costco co-founder Jeff Brotman's home in Medina for a $17,900 a plate fundraiser, and then a stop at the Westin Bellevue for a $1,000 a plate fundraiser.

However, the stop at Medina Elementary, which is close to Brotman's home, was impromptu, according to the Bellevue School District website:

Hundreds of students at Medina Elementary School got a hand shake or a high five from the President during a Friday afternoon stop. The President was in Medina and jumped out of the presidential motorcade when he saw the children lined up on the curb to watch.
