Among the topics discussed were the role of the public in city decision-making process and some back and forth over the city's handling of Sound Transit's East Link project.

Councilman Kevin Wallace, Steve Kasner, Bill Hirt and Jeffrey Talada.
The primary is Aug. 6. Ballots will be mailed to voters July 17.
