Complimentary: How Food & Medicine Can Work Together Safely

Mixing the right food with medicine can be tricky.  University of Washington (UW) School of Pharmacy and The Gardens at Town Square are joining forces to empower seniors with new information about how eating the right mix of foods with their medicines can improve effectiveness and healing time.  

UW School of Pharmacy Clinical Assistant Professor and Lead Pharmacist for UW Pharmacy Cares, Dr. Skye McKennon and The Gardens at Town Square Executive Chef, Doug Johansson co-present “Complimentary: How Food & Medicine Can Work Together Safely” on Wednesday, April 11th at The Gardens at Town Square at 10:30am. A second lecture about mixing medicines with UW School of Pharmacy Clinical Assistant Professor, Susan Lakey takes place Wednesday, May 9th. Both lecture events are free, and reservations are required.
