Preschool is Important; Get Educated for Free

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to preschools; in fact, there are so many options that finding the right one can seem like a bigger chore than choosing a college. Enter ParentMap! This January, ParentMap (parentmap.com) presents its annual community Preschool Previews events to support parents as they confront the dizzying array of preschool choices available to them. ParentMap — the Puget Sound’s leading resource for parents and families — will sponsor three separate Preschool Preview events: one in West/South Seattle (January 7); one in North Seattle/Shoreline (January 10); and one on the Eastside (January 12). Free to the public, these events assemble under one roof a collective of top local preschools, providing attendees a chance to peruse the various early education and childcare opportunities that exist in their community — all in a fun, efficient, and stress-free setting.

In addition to learning about various preschools and chatting with program staff at the fair-style event, ParentMap is offering families the opportunity to pre-register for complimentary 15-minutes consultations with early education specialists at each event, including:

Anoo Padte, Art of Education: Anoo is an education coach who believes that effective education stirs a child’s innermost being, setting a path tolifelong learning and growth. Anoo builds on this foundational goal by paying close attention to family values, the needs and passions of each child, and the changing nature of education in the 21st century. Renee Mett, President/Founder of West Seattle Preschool Association: Renee Metty has over 20 years experience working with children from early childhood through middle school in a variety of settings. Her understanding of numerous methods and models of curriculum provide children with an early learning experience essential to their educational foundation. As a former teacher, Renee believes that a child’s first experiences in school must be fun, exciting, and meaningful for the children. Parents, come alone or bring the kids — FREE childcare is available! This year, parents can pre-register their child for FREE childcare at all three of the Preschool Preview events, courtesy of A Nanny for U and Polly-Glots.

RSVP to win a prize! All event attendees who RSVP online in advance to attend the Preschool Preview of their choice will be entered to win a great prize.

Preschool Preview-participating schools come from all over the Puget Sound.
