Patricia Feltin, the founder of Eton School, a private Montessori school for students three years old through eighth grade, was celebrated by her students Wednesday as she prepares for retirement.
Feltin founded the school, located at 2701 Bel-Red Road, in 1978.
According to a press release by the school:
Every student in theschool presented Dr. Feltin with a flower as a gesture of their appreciation for her hard work over the last 30+ years. It was a fun event for all those involved and allowed the community to share in its appreciation for an individual that has helped a countless number of students during her time at Eton.
Feltin's last day at the school is June 13. Russell Smith will replace Feltin as head of the school, according to the Eton School website.
