VIEWFINDER: Serevi Spring Break Youth Rugby Camp Focuses on Fitness and Basic Skills

Boys and girls ages 7 through 18 hit the field all week for a spring break focused on fitness, fun and teamwork, led by world renowned professional rugby player Waisale Serevi.

World renowned rugby sevens player Waisale Serevi and his staff brought their expert knowledge of world rugby to the youth of Bellevue during the 2011 Spring Break Rugby Camp at . 

Serevi was a professional and international rugby player and coach, who played for several professional organizations, including the Mitsubishi Rugby Club in Japan, the Leicester Rugby Club, England and clubs in France. He also was a coach for national teams Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Taiwan.

Participants in grades first through twelfth learned the basics of: passing, kicking, running, teamwork, and decision making, friendship and fitness during the week-long, non-contact camp.
